PKR annonunce second birthday promotions

PKR have announced that they will be celebrating their second birthday this Sunday with some exclusive promotions for their players.

Founded in 2006, PKR have become the fastest growing online poker room in the UK due to their stunning 3D backgrounds and smoothly animated avitars. At the beginning of the year, PKR announced that it had served  10,000 poker players simultaneously for the first time, barely eighteen months after launching.

Their growth has continued since then with over 1.5 million players now registered with the site, and to celebrate this the 3D poker room will be running some special promotions on Sunday 17th August.

  1. Three special freerolls will be set up with a prize pool of $500 being made available for each of them
  2. Ten ‘Bounty Tournaments’ will run throughout the course of the day. Bounty tournaments mean that each player enters the tournament with a price on his/her head. The idea is to knock out as many people as you can (thus collecting your Bounty) while making sure that the price on your head stays intact!
  3. The number of PKR points earned on all cash tables will be doubled between 15.00 and 19.00 GMT. These extra PKR points can be used to pay for entry into tournaments at a later date or they can be exchanged for merchandise in the PKR shop.
