Deal or No-Deal debuts on PKR

May 27, 2008

PKR Deal or No DealFpr those of you wondering how to be on Deal or No Deal, look no further than PKR.

The online poker room has used its trademark 3D graphics to re-create the show’s TV studio in stunning detail- right down to it’s UK host Noel Edmonds who is on hand to guide you through proceedings.

The online format of the game will closely mirror the format of the television show, allowing fans to play Deal or No Deal for money. Those familiar with the show should feel comfortable diving straight into the action. Those who haven’t seen it can be assured that it’s an incredibly easy game to pick up :

Pick a box:
As the main contestant, you choose one of 26 boxes as your own and hope that it contains a large cash prize.

Choose boxes you want to open:
You will then be asked to open six more boxes held by the people around you. Each box will contain a sum of cash, which will then become unavailable to you. You want the boxes that you open to contain as smaller cash prize as possible.

Banker’s Offer:
After all six boxes have been opened, the banker will make you a cash offer for the box that you have chosen. Based on the sums of money that are still available to you, you will need to decide whether to accept his offer, or continue to open another six boxes.

Open more boxes:
If you decide to refuse the bankers offer, you will be asked to open a further six boxes before another offer is made. The game continues like this until you either accept the banker’s offer … or you go down to the last two boxes.

The last two boxes:
When only two boxes remain, you will be given the chance to swap boxes. The box you have in front of you will then be opened, and you will win the cash prize that is inside it.

All prize money will be deposited directly into your PKR account so that you can use it at the Poker Tables or in the Casino should you wish.

The cost of playing ranges from $0.50 up to $100 for each game with the highest payout being 10 times the stake of the game. So, for example the top prize for the following buy-ins will be as follows:

Buy-in Top Prize
$0.50 $5
$5 $50
$20 $200
$100 $1000

If you’re an existing member of PKR, you can use your current account and avatar to play the game. Simply login to PKR and then choose the Deal or No Deal tab.

All members of the site will be able to play for their chance to appear on the big screen with PKR TV Tournaments already underway.
